A little quaint Cafe & Restaurant, located very near Bras Basah MRT station. This is a social enterprise restaurant, providing the intellectually challenged a mean to be gainfully employed. All their service staff are very friendly and polite. Please do be a bit patient when placing your orders. Food is good too! (You can see from the photos). Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced good hearty food. Attentive, friendly & quick service. Cozy ambience though may get a bit crowded as the place is not so big. Best to make reservations. Hope to be back soon 😊👍👍

Food and services were Great. The mushrooms soup was value for money and the fish fillets was very skillfully cooked where it melts in my mouth. Overall a very fulfilling dinner especially when you know its a social enterprise. The chef shared with us they only close 2 days in a year (Good Friday and CNY).

Been here three times, most of the food are nice, Laksa is the best, Acai Grace bowl is also very delicious with a lot of toppings. Some of the food freshness can be improve, e.g fish. Their service is also great! This cafe provides work opportunities for people who have special needs; thus some special needs waiter/waitress are given a chance to serve customers and they are doing a good job. Please support them.

Excellent burger, barramundi and mash! The coffee was also surprisingly good for the price. Pleasantly surprised to see Trappist beers. Very sad that I have embarked on a strict diet otherwise I would come here weekly.

Since I'm on leave, would like to give social enterprise cafes a go. Chosen Crossing Cafe and visited this place with my girlfriend. Before coming, encourage all to make a reservations as during lunch time it can get crowded. We entered the place and was received warmly by staff, Andrea who greeted us cheerfully. She knew what are the steps to do such as informing us to do a Safe Entry check in, check our vaccination status and asked us if we had made any reservations. Shortly she showed us to our table and handed us the menu, took our orders and served us water. We wanted warm but served us cold. We politely asked for a change and she was apologetic about it and came right up with 2 cups of warm water. Sufficient items on the menu for you to select from. The two of us kept things simple by ordering: 1. 2 Fish and Chips 2. 1 pot of tea and an Iced Latte While waiting, 2 empty side plates and cutleries were placed on our table. Initially we were wondering why do we need side plates? Then served the coleslaw, few minutes later came the F&C in a stainless steel basket. Ah huh.. that is why we need the side plate. We had missing tartar sauce and had to request supervisor for it. So here it is.. if you are looking for quality F&C and expectation is high, here is not the place. Simple meal, for a good cause and acknowledging the staff's competency and efficiency is what you do here. Meal is secondary. Overall I would say a decent experience. Keep up the good work!

When I am in the Bras Basah area, I often pop in to Crossings Café in the Catholic Centre (Archdiocese of Singapore Chancery Building) in Waterloo Street -- an important social enterprise project which employs wait staff who are differently able/with special needs. I ❤️ the Franciscan burger (no longer available). For this trip, I had the onion soup, The Good Shepherd's pie, and ondeh ondeh cake as part of the 2-course lunch, which is value for money (a 3-course option is also available). The Good Shepherd pie is delicious and the ondeh ondeh cake hits all the right notes as dessert for me. It does get crowded at lunch time. Highly recommended!
