The Tiramisu Hero

The name says it all. The Tiramisu Desserts, as well as the other choices of Desserts and Drinks are amazingly good. The food choices are limited m, but they taste pretty normal, not very amazing. Situated in the Middle of Lavender MRT Station, Farrer Park MRT Station and Bendemeer MRT Station, it is a bit hard to get to. The place on the inside is wonderful. If you are driving, parking is avaliable at the opposite building or Jalan Besar Stadium. Price wise, it is considered affordable. Very popular with Locals, even more popular with Foreigners, especially Koreans and Japanese before the Pandemic. Overall not bad, just the downside is really the location

Visited on a Saturday afternoon which obviously was a bad timing because of the crowd. I was lucky enough to get a table but it's a sofa seat where the table is rather low so it was difficult to eat in a hunched posture. Opinions about the food are entirely based on my own preferences so you may still like it despite my views. The lychee mint ice blended drink was on the sweet side and the mint flavour was hardly noticeable. Should have gotten something less sweet and more refreshing in the hot weather that day. The limited edition squid ink pasta in lobster bisque was the best among what I ordered. The prawns were fresh and had a nice smoky flavour while the pasta went very well with the lobster bisque. However, considering the price, the portion was a tad too small to my liking so for big eaters, you may want to order some sides or dessert for a more filling meal. Of course, you can't miss the tiramisu if you are here. I ordered the rum & raisin flavour since this isn't something you can find easily elsewhere. Much as I liked the rum-soaked raisins which went well with the tiramisu as a whole (not overly intoxicating or overwhelming alcohol taste), the finger biscuits were a tad dry. Not a bad place to try despite the hits and misses but you may want to come during off-peak hours for some peace and quiet to enjoy your meal.

Cycle past for dessert take away home to eat. Very rich taste tiramisu. Coffee original flavor. Only need a bit of alcohol would be nicer but overall pretty decent product.small size not like those in Italy. I guess the glass container people to collect for fun...... have not tried their food but overall the ambient nature of the place makes it nice to visit

Very poor food quality. Ordered the Ultimate Mac and Cheese pasta with Salmon, which came in a pan (supposed to be baked in oven) and the food was cold and inside the salmon was RAW. How can a cafe mess up a simple dish like baked pasta. My friend ordered the Seasonal Pink Pasta with Salmon, and the part of the Salmon was also RAW. Informed staff and the kitchen re-baked the dish inside oven. But I left without eating. Very unpleasant and disappointing experience at the cafe. Looking at the table beside us, they left most of the food untouched too. Won't patronise again.

A tad disappointed that their popular dried mee hoon kway was not on menu yesterday when I visited. The dining experience wasn’t a very pleasant one. Food was okay however didn’t like the open conversation the chef and the service crew had at the main dining area. I could heard chef exclaiming loudly that she was busy and no time to cook mee hoon kuay today across a few tables. All this can be discussed behind the scene and not in front of patrons I guess.
