Great spot for late night drinks and snacks. Walked out all satisfied with the food and price! Tried onion bomb, bulgogi fries and soy wings. ALL GOOD!

Tried korean food. Sweet chicken is good but pieces are too big. Two seater table is not spacious enough for a couple. Ambience is ok. Service is good.

Been to Chicken Up multiple times over the years, feels almost criminal to be writing a review for the first time, and only having one picture for it at that xD That being said, Chicken Up serves fantastic Korean food loved by me and my friends alike. So many good things to talk about, but our top 3 choices are: Ganjang Chicken, Beef Bulgogi Fries & Watermelon Soju. Do not be fooled by the unassuming appearance of the Ganjang Chicken. I judged it's appearance prematurely when I had it for the first time, but when I sank my teeth into the juicy piece of chicken it oozed out flavours that were sooooo great! Beef bulgogi fries is also the ultimate must-try at Chicken Up. Trust me, you will never go wrong with these two! :)

One of favourite place still for chicken. Taste still the same after so many years. Service was great and food was definitely worth going back for.

I ordered the chicken wings with the spicy Yangnyum sauce. I thought that the sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. I also ordered the tuna jiggae which was amazing!

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited and sad to say I won’t be coming back. Food was mediocre and given the location, you can probably find other (better) alternatives. Although service is pretty commendable!

Headed to Chicken Up at Tanjong Pagar craving for fried chicken in early May 2021. With the glowing reviews online, I had assumed I was in for a night, and I was not wrong except it was for all the wrong reasons. The only good things were the Yangpa Bomb and the Fried Chicken Gizzard. Although I can handle spicy, I guess the Mala craze, which I am no fan of, around town had resulted in the spicy level for these 2 dishes being a tad heavy handed. The rest of the meal was just one bad news after another. The Spam Rice Ball tasted as if it had been left out on the counter for the entire day and tasted slightly sour/off. The two types of fried chicken ordered, Crispy Up and Yangnyum Up, tasted freezer burned, salty and the bones left after consumption were black instead of the usual off white, making me think if the chicken used were already expired. The worst of the night was the Fried Lotus Root where the request was made to the staff not to put the cheese powder but it was still served with the cheese powder coated over everything. Finally, wanting to clean the negative taste of the meal from the mouth was naught as the Bingsu machine was faulty as well. This was definitely an exceedingly negative experience and thankfully there was the nearby Roji Monster Ice Cream to wash the bad taste of the meal out of the mouth. Even the use of the Chope discount voucher at Chicken Up with its 30% discount did not help to make the meal any more palatable.
