W39 Bistro & Bakery

visited about one weekend ago on a saturday morning. crowd was busy and there was only one waiter but the service was absolutely superb, made the experience there pleasant and comfortable! waiter was super attentive to the needs of the tables he was serving. food wise, there were unique breakfast menu options, really enjoyed my meal there! the cakes and coffee were great too :)

Nice cozy ambience cafe. Not a lot of seats but managed to get a table on a Saturday evening. Overall food was quite creative and interesting. The W39 Yuan Yang was surprisingly good. Can be improved would be the portion size and the doneness of meat. Cakes were quite normal. Baked cheesecake was the better one amongst the rest.

Limited shophouse parking. Not too crowded on a weekend brunch timeslot. Came with our furkid and was given a complimentary bone shaped pumpkin cookie for our dog. We tried: Nyonya Mee Siam - Soury and tangy! Loved the sous vide egg on top, was perfect. Crabby Benny - Generous crabmeat filling and hollandaise was yummmmy. Truffle Fries - Hugeeee portion!!! Service crew were very gentle and friendly to our pup too. Will recommend to all pawrents!

Passed by while cycling and had a light latte and sugee cake. The cafe is welcoming, with very nice outdoors seating for cyclists and dog walkers to have a bite. Windy and sheltered. Service was good and attentive. You can take your time with your coffee and won't feel rushed. Indoors air-conditioned seating available too, although less spacious indoors.

Food here is above average. My main complain is the Nasi Lemak. At $17+, I would expect much more. It’s too pricey for the normal ingredients that most places are serving & selling at less than $10. Pricing the Nasi lemak same as Coconut Club ($16.80), we will expect same or better standards. The French Toast we had, we expected it to be served warm, however the cold sauce spread on the bread makes the taste weird. The Pork Quesadillas was the saving grace, spot on & delicious. They have a unique Goth Flat White Coffee too, which is a first for us. Service was good & staff was friendly & informative. Indoor seating can be very noisy especially when there are tables of “Aunties” gossiping loudly, hahaha 🤣.

being pet-friendly, this place does attract many dog owners. reservations on weekends are a must. menu is not big but food is decent. it may be a tad small for big eaters expecting big brunches. Appreciate the service staff patience and the male service staff is pretty helpful despite being quite busy. overall ambiemce is laid back and rustic.
