Amber Tandoor Restaurant

Had an amazing experience eating here. Food was delicious and generous portions, clean and fast, and the kindest customer service I've had in a while. I'm reading a lot of negative reviews about service and I imagine it has to do with the time you come to the restaurant. When I came here at night, it was fantastic. Thank you so much, Amber's, for helping me out when I was hungry and tired and really just wanted a good, tasty nepali food,north Indian food also.

Generous servings and tasty food. Very popular with locals and foreigners. I ate Paneer chilli which was good. I ordered some food from Amber Tandoor Restaurant a few times. Guests liked it. It was Tandoori chicken, chicken chilli. I ate Paneer Pakoda and Samosa which was catered to my food choice requirements and did not have any onion or garlic in it. I had been taking my Hindi Adult class learners to Amber for many years. Guests tried Aallo Gobhi, Tadka Daal and Jeeera rice. They liked it. Mohan served us well for many years. Jamu coordinated well for taking orders.

Good place to have north indian food. We tried chicken tikka, fish chilli & dal. Everything was good. I really liked the outdoor seating as the weather was good. Staff & service is top notch as they were prompt in taking & serve our order. Only -ve point is the wine selection, i am sure they can do better.

The manager of the restaurant could have been more honest with us. The restaurant was crowded, he told us we can order in 20mins time and will get our food after another 20mins. We waited for an hr and when asked when we can order, we were told another 15mins. If he told us from the start that they couldn’t serve us due to capacity, we wouldn’t have wasted our time. We ordered 1 teh harlia as well but they served teh without harlia. When asked, they said no more harlia. Again, could have informed us when we made the order. $2 for a small small cup of teh. Not worth. Will not come again
