Summer Hill

Our first time here at this quiet corner of the otherwise bustling food enclave at Sunset Way. Considering the portions (they are huge!) the food menu is very reasonably priced. We had the 1/2 Roast Chicken ($32) and Normandy Mussels, ($32) for mains, and shared a portion of Duck Fat Fries ($15, must try!). We were too full for desserts after that but we did takeaway a dark chocolate tart with us 😀 Will be back to try the rest of the menu. The lunch sets look great too!

We like the sea bream most. The fish and the sides blend well together. Roast chicken was quite a disappointment as it was too dry. Duck fat fries was interesting, portion was too big for two pax though. The lady server was very attentive, quietly observing and anticipating what we need. Service staff with such caliber are hard to come by!

Best sandwich I’ve ever had - totally worth the price! I could clearly taste every single ingredient, yet the ingredients went so well with each other. I also tasted the first pickle I’ve ever enjoyed here, amazing! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Also requested for the seat for best sunlight to take nice photos, and I noticed that my table came with a nice tablecloth and pretty coasters, unlike other tables. Not sure if it was intentional or just a coincidence, but it was appreciated!

The fried chicken as I was told was French style. Unique taste, rather different from the usual fried chicken that we are familiar with. Taste was not too bad, still prefer the more familiar fried chicken taste. The side dishes that came along with the fried chicken were amazing and delicious. I can't really tell what we're in there (I saw eggplant, cauliflower, mash potato, many other stuffs). Somehow I enjoyed the side dishes more than the main 😂 By the way, the ambience was chill and the service was friendly.
