The best Japanese sushi restaurant in Singapore. This restaurant is owned by Japanese fishermen's association and provide fresh ingredients of sushi. My first time ate fresh UNI (sea urchin) over here and got so satisfied. There is Japanese chief inside and feel so authentic. Many Japanese residents here come this restaurant.

I dined here on business on my last visit to Singapore. Overall experience was great for what I ordered and ate. The decor was outstanding and so was the ambience inside. I ordered sushi and mixed nigiri and some ice cream dessert. Prices are pretty steep considering their nigiri is small in comparison to most I've had. Usually, I ask the sushi master to reduce the rice but retain the size of the cuts in the nigiri if I'm ordering second rounds but it looks like small is the default size here. For the price, you could surely find deals of similar quality in Singapore.

About a year ago we had the omakase menu and it was great. As much value for money you can get in Singapore if you want Japanese food. The menu included uni and a hotpot with some fatty tuna. Most dishes were interesting. Last week we went their again and it was a total letdown. Two main complaints: 1. All expensive ingredients removed from the omakase menu, but the price remains the same. 2. Most dishes are made for a western palate (e.g scallop in mayo, salad with sesame dressing, deep fried squid, panna cotta desert).
The food is fresh and you won't get sick, but at $140 a person you should expect much more.

Had the Ebi Sakura claypot rice, homemade omelette and anago here. The claypot rice is supremely well done and simply phenomenal. It can serve up to 4 portions but 2 of us just finished the entire pot without sparing a single grain of rice. The claypot rice takes about 35 minutes to prepare, but you can try calling in advance to make a reservation and get the rice prepared beforehand. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with good ambience, and the amazing claypot rice is certainly value for money! Will definitely visit again! :)

Fresh fish straight from Japan and staff that actually know how to introduce a dish. Highly recommended. Good value lunch sets

It is the most authentic Japanese dining in Singapore. Kitchen is headed by a Japanese chef and ingredients air-flown from Japan. Frequented mostly by Japanese working in Singapore.
