Dined here three times and always left a happy person. Definitely the better Japanese restaurants at Cuppage Plaza. Pro tip: Come during lunch as they serve set meals at around $30 to 50. The quality is hard to beat at this price point. If you're getting a whole fish, ask the chef to prepare it in a few different ways.

nice selection of sake and seasonal fish and dishes ! price though on the premium side equals to the quality of the food . a recommended place to eat fine Japanese food . Just hope they can do away with 2 sittings lol as i like to start eat early dinner and slowly chill and finish food through the night.

Every dish ordered was on point & just great. Special shout-out to the carpaccio with ponzu jelly & truffle oil, garlic fried rice, mentaiko cheese grilled prawn & white corn which was left us savouring for return trips! Staff was really friendly & lady boss was especially nice to frequently check in with us if we are enjoying and everything was alright - even after making recommendations. Chef Steve was kind enough to share on a couple of the dishes’ process when asked. First visit but definitely will be back!

Very good quality food and service. They recommended the catch of the day kamasu (barracuda) first time I tasted sashimi that's fresh and sweet. If you are a couple take the counter seats and see the chef perform their magic. The chawamushi with crab leg is so niceeee. Different from what you had at mainstream Japanese restaurant.
