First visit and probably many more for sure. The food is good. Service is good. Not many F&Bs can claim that these days. Wife and daughter always been their fans. Finally their persuasions won. At first look their set lunch (different every day) about $10 seemed too good to be true. Wide and daughter ordered that with top up items (payable). I ordered the crepes with black forest ham. Wow it was awesome and could feed a horse. For me, the most remarkable I'd the service. Staffs were obliging and enthusiastic. Yes, everyone. Family forgot to sat during ordering about topping up with a soup of the day. Only realized when orders were served. I encouraged them to ask if too late to upgrade order. And yes, a smiling staff obliged and everyone was happy. Btw they provide free plain water, chilled or warm, with a tinge of lemon.

Unlike the Marche in Suntec City, this tiny outlet doesn't let you walk around to buy your food. This outlet is like a regular cafe; you order from the menu after seated. The menu is not extensive, but good enough for the capacity. I tried the pork schnitzel, it's nicely fried and crispy outside, but the meat itself was tough and a bit chewy. Hopefully the other dishes like pasta or pizza are better. The cafe latte was excellent, reminds me of the wonderful lattes served by Dome. This outlet has both indoor and outdoor seating, and is located on the ground floor of Jem.

We waited for the 9am opening hour to have breakfast. I had only cappuccino. The place is pleasantly decorated with outdoor seats where ceiling fans were running to keep the area cool. Indoor area could have been great if the air-con temp was lower. The table for 8 with high chairs was great. Staff, mostly young ones, were patient in taking our orders as some of us couldn't decide what to eat/drink though some small hiccups were experienced. Teaspoon and milk were not served with English Tea, staff didn't know what is Long Coffee vs coffee, and had to be egged on to check with kitchen to avoid us taking the wrong cup.
