Oh my god! The food here is so amazing. Very delicious, very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. And the place is gorgeously decorated with paintings and bottles. This place is often packed, so would recommend reserving.

Walked past this quaint little restaurant hidden on Eng Hoon street and it was definitely a hidden gem. Serving legit authentic peranakan food, we loved the beef rendang the most. The blended spices was was infused with beef so well, it was bomb. The ayam buah keluak was delicious as well👍🏼 Had the whole place to ourselves when we dined on a weekday night. Will definitely come back whenever we’re craving peranakan food😜 Highly recommended 🤗

A chic and cosy restaurant, well decorated with the original Peranakan feel and look. The dishes didn't disappoint. Ordered the ngor hiang, my daughter who wasn't a big fan of ngor hiang helped herself to most. I'm a huge fan of ayam buah keluak, it was really satisfying. The buah keluak was filled with umami. The babi pongteh was well simmered with the pork melting in your mouth. The chap chye balanced off the heavier taste dishes with the light touch yet flavourful soft cabbage. My family enjoyed thoroughly and will be returning for more.

I find that the flavours of the Peranakan dishes here area little different from others. Not the typical flavour you get but it’s unique and nice. I like the itek and sambal lady’s finger. The price point is on the high side so may not return.

The restaurant started in the 80's and is now a restaurant chain. I love Peranakan food and is the first time trying out the food here. I would give the quality of food a 4 star rating. The place is well decorated but the place is a little cramp and the table is very small!!!. I would give it a 2 star rating. Service is good and the staff are very friendly. If you want to savour good food, this place is great. If you want to have a more relax environment and enjoy wine, I would not recommend this place.

We ordered 4 dishes , happily waiting for the food to arrive, the food taste was good, but it came with disappointment. We paid $23 for Garam Assam Fish and they came with only 3 small slices of Snappers. Does 3 slices of fillet fish cost that much despite inflation? Seriously they overcharged. Assuming that portion of food is relative to the price you paid. but no.
