Food was simple but v presentable. Very affordable too. Lots of young crowd, including jc and polytechnic or university students. Maybe some young working adults too. The pork collar was very good. Soft and succulent. Tender. Was very pleasantly surprised. Servers were very friendly and deserve a mention too.

Checked the review online and came with expectations. Staffs were not so friendly (to us), but they were friendly and close to some other customers. Maybe because we are the first-timers, or maybe because we are Chinese-looking. Able to find some special cocktails here, flavours may vary, I think it is purely about the individual preference. But overall the tastes were not really satisfying.

Food and drinks were both very impressive. Staff were extremely warm and friendly as well! He was attentive and asked for our preferences before recommending suitable drinks for us to try. The handpie was delicious and we wished we had more. I also liked the open and spacious concept and chill vibes of the bar at night.

NOTE: AS OF EARLY APRIL 2018 THIS RESTAURANT HAS CLOSED. Great location in a colorful older part of Singapore among all the historical shophouses. Host welcomed us and we got busy deciding on a beverage. Had to try their bloody mary, which was flavorful but strangely a mite sweet. For brunch, we got the grits and also the pancakes. Fun, rustic-modern presentation of food in clayware. Rather delicious! Enjoyed looking at the bar display with geometric crannies showcasing all the special spirits for their carefully curated craft cocktails. Yum! Incredibly good, intuitive service and warm, welcoming, neighborhood vibe experience. Really looking forward to making this place a new fave hangout.

What a great place to go! As a 30something I might have been swayed by the old skool indie tunes on the speakers. Then we met the staff and I have seldom seen such attentive, friendly and jovial waitstaff. The food is amazing even more so as it is priced very competitively. Highlight for me was tips on my next travel destination including directions. Don't forget to play some shuffleboard

Tried the Lady Deathstrike and Cauliflower Steak and I was pleasantly surprised at how they managed to create so many depth of flavours and still tease my palate with amazing textures. Definitely recommend this to people who are looking for original cocktails or having a casual dinner. Will definitely be back for more.
