Always enjoyed their mixed beef pho and spring rolls. Authentic stuff. Everything else is pretty standard fare and some are just pricey like the sausage is $20 which I ordered without looking at the price. Got a shock. Tasty but it should not cost that much.

We came here the other day and had lunch. It was the first time in a long while to come back here. It’s an interesting place because on the one hand, it’s in UE Square, while on the other, it looks rather run down inside. They also have outdoor seating, however. The menu itself is quite large and they have a wide range of dishes and drinks. Service is okay but not great. I think they have manpower issues. Overall, the food was not bad and certainly looked nice, but we prefer our usual place in Joo Chiat as it tastes better and is half the price with better service. The pho here was decent but a little too salty and had less noodles. The stew was okay but again not the best I’ve had. The drink was unusual and nice. Would we come back? Yeah, if we didn’t want to travel too far for Vietnamese. But given the cost, I’d be more inclined to make the trip to someplace I actually prefer to go.

A large variety of vietnamese food, and everything tasted delicious. The bun bo hue was spicy but not too sweet. The banh mi is made in a crispy french bread - love that getting an egg in the bahn mi was expected/normal. The apps are all super good! The wines are $30 per bottle. Can't think of anything to complain about

You can sense the Viet flavor from afar, quite easy to find this restaurant, 4 mins walk from Fort Canning mrt. The service was slow, we came around 8pm, wasn’t peak hour, & waited about 20 mins for our food. We ordered 3 mains & 1 starter: - “Banh hoi bo la lot” was cold, felt like it came straight from the fridge, their fermented fish sauce tasted ok. - The pork chop from “com tam” seasoned really well, moist & flavorful. Wished the steamed egg (cha trung) portion was bigger. I didn’t like the fish sauce, too vinegary for my liking. - “Bun bo” & “Pho with beef brisket” soups both salty🫠 not enough herbs pairing for each dish, no Sate (shacha chilli sauce) for “bun bo”, beef briskets was way too thick & chewy. The portion of each dish wasn’t that big, I don’t think 1 main can fully a hungry belly.

in general noodle and banh mi dishes are good. they served the fried banana dessert in the middle of our meal, of course we sent it back.. they stuck it in the fridge and served the SAME FREAKIN plate back. banana was cold and the ice-cream half melted with the consistency of whipped cream. i was a regular here, sometimes going out of my way to come for the noods. i finally brought my husband with me so i can have enough room for the fried banana dessert i’ve been eyeing. i am furious with the lack of pride in the food. (not going to bother writing a detailed review) they asked if i wanted a refund which i guess is considered service recovery but it won’t compensate for the lack of care for the food. i don’t think i’ll go out of my way to come back again.

A great location near the Singapore river, a terrific menu including a page of vegetarian options, friendly and attentive staff made me very excited to visit, but the food execution let down the final results. I tried the vegetarian bahn mi with lemon grass tofu. The bread was more "roll" than "baguette", there were few vegetables, and the lemongrass flavor on the tofu was not noticable. The smoked banana dessert was unique but a bit mushy to really enjoy it. The cafe sua da was tasty but mixed in too much ice.

Stopped in at Moc Quan (Vietnamese Restaurant) for a late lunch today. I had eaten the Thit Kho (Pork cooked in a tangy spiced caramel sauce) a few days ago and loved it, so decided to do a repeat. The pork belly was succulent and the sauce spicy and rich. Served with a bowl of rice, it was mouthwatering. My companion decided to have the Bo Kho - a beef stew with carrots spiced up with lemongrass and other herbs, accompanied with rice. It was so-so. The taste was alright but not great. We were quite hungry so asked for an extra bowl of rice to mop up all the extra gravy.

Food was decent. But not memorable. Bahn Mi is not very delicious. We ordered beef stew, which seemed more of a Pho than stew. It had fresh onions and veggies. I expected them to be stewed veggies instead. Beef was not stewed Enough. A bit chewy. What ruined the experience for me is that they forgot to prepare the grilled squid we ordered. After waiting 50min, I asked if it was coming. They admitted they forgot and yet the chef didn't want to prepare it then. Quoting a long order queue. I won't come back. There are many better vietnamese options in Singapore.
