Lai Huat Seafood Restaurant

Overall, a great dining experience at old shop houses. Delicious dishes with very reasonable price, and generous serving portion. Visited twice within a week. Convinced that their seafoods were indeed very fresh, samba Chilli paste really nice. Just that fish a bit dried. A good relaxing dining place with friends or family. Since the shop is located just beside Jalan Besar Stadium, hence plenty car parking lots are available.

This restaurant, I only can give 3 stars. My reasons are the foods taste average but below my expectation because after looking through all reviews before I come over which is 4 mostly 4 stars and service are not bad. However the chrysanthemum tea pot charge seven dollars without sense, as we only have total 3 pax. So I attach my bill in my photos.

Quite a nostigic place to enjoy authentic, delicious and valuable for the portion offered by this outlet as per their menu. Although they only open from late afternoon onwards, it is still recommend to visit this place if opportunity arises as it really valuable for money. Great place to hang out with for a good meal.

The sweet and sour pork is the thin pork kind. Extremely addictive! Fish is quite average. $45 for one. The belachan is not bad but can get quite cloying after awhile. Sotong kia and kangkong also pretty average. Price is on the high side but seems to have quite a bit of reservations so come early to get seats.
