Very tasty, not overly sweet, easy to bite too.
Really enjoy the Bak Kwa no wonder they are around for many many years,

Bak kwa is literally juicy, our must-have at least every CNY. HZL's bak kwa taste is well balanced, less sweet, and the aroma of traditional charcoal is wonderful. Other major brands that we tried are too oily, too sweet, can be dry and tough (especially during CNY rush), but Hu Zhen Long is always tender.

A fantastic place for local Singaporean snacks and souvenirs! Steven was very helpful and speaks several languages. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the products, but we were able to try different snacks as well, such as dehydrated durian, pandan cake, and jerky! Being able to try the various goods was helpful in deciding what snacks to get and more stores should do this!
