Crown

Their pastries smells so good even far from their shop. Ordered a savory and sweet for a start. Food and drink are decent. Do take note of their kitchen cooking hour as some menu are not available from 2:30pm as the kitchen is closed. But other non kitchen cooking items are available, check with them before order.

The food here is always nice! We are always here for the Crown Breakfast set! Everything is just nice! Except for today we are missing the pastry that is ring around the egg! 😫 Other than that, everything is good! Good services from an uncle at the cashier this morning.. very helpful and friendly! 👏👏 Made our trip there so happy!

I would put this as a 3.5 star place based the Patty Melt served, but the chicken ciabatta order was pretty good so pushes it to a 4. The Patty Melt didn't exactly melt with 2 slices of cheese just stacked neatly on the Patty. Taste wise it's good, but as a cheeseburger. The point of a melt is to bring out the cheese oils so that they get everywhere, the pungence is meant to dominate the bite. This didn't happen at all and thus remains a cheeseburger. I would love to see the brioche slice thicker at 30-50% more (dump the nachos), melt the cheese thoroughly, and that's it! The chocolate milkshake meant to be cloying to contrast with the strong sandwiches, was instead quite mild with some unsweetened plain ice cream.
