I think most Singaporeans will find this place overpriced because the set contains only 100g of meat. My picture has 2 sets - beef and pork so it's like 5 slices per set. So what gives them the right to charge these prices? Their dashi soup is definitely one of the best I have tasted in life and I have been to Japan frequently. It has different layers of taste profile as I swallow it. However, I will think most Singaporeans will not be able to discern such subtle flavors. Due to the price, I was the only customer after 8pm on weekday night so service is very fast.

The food tastes amazing, the staff was attentive and the sake super delicious. Unfortunately the restaurant is very small and located in a Japanese area of a food court so the atmosphere is suffering. That's why only 4 stars instead of 5. Wheelchair accessible, but haven't seen any children's menu so not sure how child friendly it is.

Excellent high-quality hotpot, with various tasty broth options. The lunch offerings are good too, and more affordable than dinner: the wagyu mabushi lets you appreciate both the high-quality beef and the dashi; the uni ramen is a great chance to try their uni broth, if the uni hotpot sounds too rich.
