While partner enjoyed his fried wontons. I didn't like the fried fish in mine - it's overly breaded and got quite gelat after the first few bites. Really liked the noodle texture and bite. I just wasn't expecting the lard bits but I should have checked. Could try the curry noodle again if it doesn't come with lard or pork 😬

“Born and bred in Kuching, it is clear that the flavour has been adapted to suit local taste buds” However, I suppose it retains certain elements of Kuching kolo mee and is the closest thing I can get to a piping hot bowl or kolo mee in Singapore.

This is a must try noodle stall if you are in Vivo City. Original authentic taste from Sarawak. One of my favourites noodle shop whenever I have the time to enjoy my lunch.

One of my go to place in Vivo. The place is always crowded but we always manage to secure table. The noodle is springy and the taste is close to the one we can get in Sarawak. Affordable too, S$7.9 a bowl for normal noodle in aircon area inside mall.

A decent bowl of Kolo Mee but sauce does taste slightly different from the usual kolo mee. It can be quite oily from the pork lard used. Price is also slightly expensive for the portion but it is expected for restaurants in thsi area. Service was quite fast and organised.

#2 for $7.90 comes with minced pork, char siew, some vege, 2 wanton and 2 shrimps. The noodle was well cooked and had a good QQ texture. However, the noodles lacked taste and fragrance. Even with the presence of pork lard, the lard didn't do much to lift the aroma of the dish. You can find much better and more traditional sarawak kolo mee else where at cheaper prices.

Fillet fish batter is quite thick, I wasn’t able to eat it the way it’s prepared. I had to remove the fried batter for the 2nd piece and eat the fish without it. It’s nice but too much of it actually makes the stomach sick. ( in my opinion .. may not able to all. ) The noodles you can choose between mee pok or mee Kia. I’ve always love the noodles and have to eat with with chlli ! It will be good if they can add some vegetables along with the fish and noodles to make the dish more complete as it lacks of fibre.

Curry is rich and creamy, full of pandan flavour. With a bite of tender chicken meat off the bone and big chunk of potato. Yum.. However, first time trying with kolo mee, su~per wierd. Curry is still best to pair with rice. Pick your poison.
