The tonkutsu ramen and the volcano ramen was very average at best... Only one big piece for the pork slices. The egg was and the pork belly was decent enough. The gyoza was lousy, I reckon the ones at NTUC are much better and tastier. Service staff was overwhelmed during the peak hours. Crowd started to taper out after 815pm. At least they bother to refill my green tea.

4 stars with the eatigo 50% discount. The buta kakuni is a must try. Soft and tender, not too fatty. The pork skin might taste too meaty for some but you can cut that top layer off. The crispy chicken karaage is pretty good too. The ramen was not bad but could be better. Good basic tonkotsu broth that hits all the right notes. However, the noodles and egg were so-so only. Do check out their Facebook before going for their week day specials like Wed is ladies night where gals get a free (non-alcoholic) drink. Tuesday is $5 for a warm sake or sashimi though. Overall, definitely go if you have the eatigo 50%, two of us ordered 2 ramens with buta kakuni and egg plus a chicken karaage for $18.

Rice used in the donburi was very dry, definitely not Japanese rice as the grains were too long. Pork belly was ok but not great. My friends had taken, which they said had too little soup.

Fairly decent ramen which is not too pricey. Soup base is run of the mill though the Gyoza is quite good actually. Watch the chilli and spice level though - quite a kick from the chilli paste. Decent prices especially for the sets.

It's usually very crowded dung the lunch hour. One of my favourite restaurants for Ramen. Ramen, soup and the meat are cooked just the right texture. Nice and clean environment. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Simple and nice food where one really enjoy in life. Keep it Up.

Surprised at the low ratings from other reviews. We all had their Signature Tonkotsu Ramen, it may not be the best but it's definitely tasty. Their Tonkotsu soup is lighter and less intense which makes it less salty. Price wise it's certainly cheaper than some of the premium brands. Some complain there's only a single slice of Chashu, at least it's tender and tasty not like some. Also 1.80 for a Ramen egg is reasonable, some places charge 3.00.
However the egg is not as good, I would prefer if more mirin is used in the marination. The bamboo shoots were lovely and adds a good crunch to the noodles.
I like hard noodles and it's good that they give you the option. Lastly the service was great, especially the elderly male waiter.

Was looking around the area for good food. Chance upon this ramen shop and decided to give it a chance, the food quality is unexpectedly subpar. The service standard is just like any other ramen shops opened up by anyone, there is no standard to the food and everytime just seem like it was thrown into a bowl to give someone to eat. The noodle's taste and texture reminded me of instant maggi noodles. Would not recommend anyone to visit here but if you're looking for cheap japanese food and have no care or worries about the taste, then you can come here, other than that, you'll probably be disappointed.

Food is Nice. Would visit again. Portions seem a little small, but that just means prices are slightly better
