Real Food Cafe - Novena

Food was decent and hot — save for the fact that we requested for no pineapples and cucumbers on our pizza which they put on there ANYWAY, and didn't put on the additional garlic we requested (why even bother to take it down if only to fail to do so?) — but the service was EXCEPTIONALLY slow. Staff didn't even seem to have any sense of urgency even after we finally asked about our food after a half an hour wait and delivered the wrong order to our table without so much as an apology. Additionally a ton of people left before they could place their order because of how ridiculously slow the service staff were. Maybe the outlet at Clarke Quay provides better service, but otherwise the food is good but not worth the cost and wait.

Well executed vegetarian dishes with organic ingredients and vegan options, but wait times are often long compared to its other branches and service spotty. The space is also not ideal. Most of the other Real Food branches have as modern, open feel (even the now defunct Clarke Quay branch which was also in a basement still managed to convey that feel) but this branch feels confined and that affects mood.
