Saizeriya

I had a very bad experience in the White Sands outlet we usually frequent. We were in a queue for dinner and when it came to my turn, i told the waiter there were 3 of us and 2 are just nearby. Without asking he gave our turn to a party who was behind me. That group said there were 4 but when they sat down there were only 3 of them. I later asked the same waiter Shawn if there is a policy of seeing all diners before getting a seat as in some restaurants. He said no. I am already prepared to order for my party of 3 and he didn’t even allow me time to tell him that. I think Saizeriya should train their waiters like Shawn to listen to the client as they are in a service industry. This is not cookhouse. We are here to enjoy not only the food but a reasonable service and I can’t find it here.

It has been a long time since I last visited Saizeriya… missing their free flow drinks counter but can’t be helped, we are in this pandemic and it is better to be safe than sorry. To me, Saizeriya is like the most economical western food place for many as you can order a soup below $3/-, a bowl of pasta below $4/-, side dishes below $4/-, dessert below $5/- & steak below $10/-. Their food taste yummy & their staff’s service is good as well!

First time ordering and we loved the pineapple and bacon pizza, which was full of flavour and not too oily. The pineapple chunks were fresh. Portion wise, it was a tad small, but guess okay for the price point. The aglo oilo prawn pasta with brocolli was not as good. It had loads of garlic, but only two prawns, and was a little bland other than the garlic.

One of my favourite places for Western cuisine for the whole family, good food as well as reasonably priced Very attentive and fast service. Main dishes ordered: Aglio Prawn Pasta Cheesy Chicken Chicken Stew Bismark Pizza Side dishes: Escargot - a must order on every visit Mushroom soup Chicken Wings Brocoli with mushrooms All were yummy; we left the restaurant filling full and satisfied ;)

Service very bad. I saw a lot of empty table but the staff still asked us to stand queuing outside. When I asked, she said insufficient worker and have to wait. I said waiting is ok. I requested to go in and sit down to wait since there is so many empty table. She answered fiercely and insisted we must wait outside. Otherwise just get off from there. Then I left and those people (about 6) on the queue also left.
