Horrible experience. Took reservation for 9:30 pm. Was made to sit at an empty bar saying would be assigned a table soon. Till 10:20 pm, no table assigned and could not give how much the wait was. Was being kinda asked to order/eat at the bar which I refused. When we paid the check, they got us the wrong cards to sign after 20 mins. Overall, pathetic. Don't recommend at all. Plus, the food is OK but overpriced! Def not worth the experience.

Food was average, service was horrible. We were made to wait at the sad little bar upstairs because they couldn't get the table for us at the time of our reservation. For 50 minutes. All the while several times it was suggested to us that we could simply eat at the bar. When we finally got the table, the food was ok, but average for the price. Getting the check turned into a production as well as it took 20 minutes at the end of an already frustrating experience. Not to mention there was no apology from the manager/guy in charge.

Unbelievably terrible service. Inspite of having a confirmed reservation, we had to wait ~50 minutes to be seated at our table. We weren't told that it would take so long - it was always "your table will be ready soon". We agreed to wait at the bar upstairs, and the only 10 second conversation we had with the manager was when he suggested we just eat our meal at the bar upstairs :| An hour and 15 mins after arriving, we were served our food. The lobster was good, but not worth $75. If you've eaten the lobster at Burnt Ends, you're sure to be disappointed. The duck was too rare and turbot was below average in terms of flavor. The bread was the only saving grace, with the whipped chicken and anchovies flavored butter. Overall, food was not worth the price. Bill payment was another arduous process. They took our cards, and the waiter disappeared for 20 mins. The manager, who was busy chatting with this couple at the nearby table (he NEVER tried talking to us or apologizing for the wait), when asked about the time it was taking to charge our cards, professed complete surprise and darted to the cashier section. Minutes later, they brought our cards back, having charged the wrong amount. We then merrily waited for them to cancel it and charge us the right amount. We finally left, and safe to say we have no plans to ever return!
