The Feather Blade

We had a very good experience with feather blade, the food served plated nicely, taste of the food is good. I believe they were under staff on Saturday, as our food was served less than lukewarm, believe the food was place somewhere and waited to be send to us. Taste is still relatively good and for the price, I will recommend! The cocktail is Interesting, taste of the cocktail is sweet and easy to drink, will recommend the beer as well as the taste of summer ale and road hog is very good!

Amazing steak, amazing burger and amazing wagyu don. Ordered all 3 of their mains because we couldn't decide what to get and we didn't regret. The steak was amazing and it melts, the rice from the don was so good we couldn't get enough of it and I am biased towards burgers. The staff was really nice too! They gave me free pickles when I said i liked them cos the pickles were great and I'm not usually a pickle person.

With all the hype about this place, and seeing how fully booked it is, I had high expectations going in, and they were not met at all. Ordered steak, and was utterly disappointed. The quality of the steak was mediocre, and I feel that you can get much better steak at the same/cheaper price elsewhere, which does not explain the unanimous good reviews on it. Portion of Foie Gras top up was puny. Spinach and mushroom were tasty, but portion is small for the price. The only saving grace was the Elderflower Sangria cocktail, which was fascinating to watch. It is surely an experience. Taste wise, decent, I wouldn't say I was impressed. Environment was cozy, but I was very turned off by the noisy crowd. It was impossible to have a proper meal in that setting. Even though service was top notch, we were greeted warmly and had our requests fulfilled by the staff, it could not compensate for my poor experience with the food.

The steak is really delicious and the foie gras is soft and melts in your mouth. They were kind and nice to extend my timing as I was running late. Definitely a nice place to have a meal. Would have been even better if there is a surprise complimentary dessert or drink as we were celebrating our 6 years together.

Ordered the steak and some cocktails and can say that both the food and ambience was really nice. Had the steak medium and shared a side of spinach. Steak was pretty value for money and was cooked well, would recommend a medium rare for those who prefer it softer. Paired well with the truffle mushroom sauce although would have preferred a larger portion of sauce. Spinach was tasty and creamy. In terms of cocktails, would recommend the Kyoho Grape Sangria, Clarita and the Elderflower Sangria. Only thing would be for the restaurant to extend the reservation timings as my friends and I had to eat quite quickly.

Food was excellent. The steaks are so scrumptious and very reasonably priced. Drinks are awesome and ambience was cosy and intimate. Colin made a couple of cocktails for us that are outside the menu. They were brilliant. Gin and tonic martini is a must try. Very personalised banter and service with Colin. Will definitely return for more!

Had to try this place. High rating with a large number of reviews. Interesting decor and lighting. Feels like a bar/nightclub theme but serves steak. This place seems to really rush you in a 70 or 75min eating window but to be fair to them, they limit the food options and the food comes out quickly. The steak only has 1 level of doneness - medium.... In general the food was OK. Not spectacular but it was expensive for what it was. Do not come here if you want to chill out and take your time and relax.

Great mains! The flank steak with foie gras melts in your mouth, while the burger is juicy and savoury. Paired with the Argentinian red wine, the experience was phenomenal. While the mains were great, the portions are kinda small and the side dishes were average (we tried all 4). Definitely worth a visit.
