Poulet

I’ve not visited Poulet in over two years (pandemic) and I’m pleasantly surprised with the refreshed menu. I had their salmon pot pie and I enjoyed it tremendously. A very balanced meal with creamed spinach, mashed potato, cheddar cheese and a decent amount of chunky salmon pieces (not overcooked and dry). Salad could have done better with balsamic vinegar dressing but other than that it was freshly prepared. The French onion soup could had been served piping hot. The vanilla French toast was a pleasant dessert, do not be fooled by the creamy textures, it’s actually made up of fluffed up yoghurt (it was a bit sweet for my taste buds) and had a good hearty dose of strawberries. I will definitely return to eat at Poulet again.

Great service and friendly staff. Food came quickly like 5-7 mins after we placed order even though the place was full and the waiting line was long. 2 mains (half roasted chicken and grilled sea-bass) with 2 side dishes each, 1 iced lemon tea - total bill at 48$. The half chicken is crispy and really flavorful - the mushroom sauce is rich, creamy with a bit of sour taste so it complements with the roasted chicken. Grilled sea-bass portion is a bit small but just okay with 2 sides. Seating arrangement looks great and spacious overall. Will definitely come back for quality food and great service.

Frank opinion, nothing great while main dish like chicken taste fresh but improvement need to be advice. Small serving and side dishes taste like fast food. Nothing much or interesting to offer. Steak might look deceivingly attractive but the taste is bland and hard. I do wonder if the meat is fresh Meat lover, go somewhere else. It will be your ultimate nightmare.

Came here to have dinner with my family. Ordering using the ipad was easy enough. We ordered two 3 course meal which I think worth the price. Portion is good, and food was quickly served too. Good since usually our kids hate to wait long! We also ordered the steak (medium), which was a bit dissapointing since it was tough & chewy. The oxtail beef pie is yummy but we wished there are more meat inside 😅. Other than that everything else was good. Dessert from the set menu are delicious, especially the milk pudding! Will come back again to try the French toast next time!

It’s Boxing Day and we finally decided to have a post Xmas dinner at VivoCity’s Poulet outlet. We got the comfortable cushioned Seats and proceeded to choose the 3 course set meals. We were satisfied with the food spreads. The starters of beef meatballs and chicken wings built up our appetites well. The signature roasted chicken leg was tender and tasted even better in the ‘Diana’ sauce. The barramundi meat is fresh and lightly lined with delicious creamy sauce. The creamy pasta was equally good; pasta had good texture and cream sauce well-made. We finished the great dinner with the refreshing mango puddings. The friendly staff put the icing on our great meals. Definitely worth a revisit!
