Chicken Hotpot

Hot pot here really means clay pot (鸡煲). I tried the Couple Set of Chicken Hotpot and mildly spicy prawns. Very tasty! The chicken was very tender and portion was enough for 2 ladies. Joseph the restaurant manager was very warm and friendly and recommended to try the Fish next time. I’d love to come back again!

The pig stomach soup and the chicken hotpot are nice. Tried the 酸菜鱼 which is surprisingly tasty. They will refill the soup automatically. After eatigo 40%, it cost about $14.50 per pax with all the ingredients you add to the soup. But the aircon is quite bad and it gets sweaty towards the end when the whole restaurant is filled with people.

What is a Chicken Pot? Actually chicken chunks mixed with their secret sauce thrown into a claypot. And the fire below and RAGING. I can say their sauce is actually quite thick and yummy. What is amazing is that after multi top ups of soup (just call the friendly waitresses), the sauce transforms into a yummy soup. You can even order ala carte meat/vegatables to add into the boiling claypot like a mini steam boat. The order process is very straight foward. Chicken (tasty), fish (more towards the soury), prawn(spicy) or beef (havent tried). Tried all and 3 distinct flavours is enough buffet to your tastebuds. Just a tip to quicky eat the spicy fries(comes with the prawn pot) before they get soggy! Come choose your pot today =)

Made reservations already. Counter staff kept rushing us to order at the counter even before we had a look at the menu. Barely had a look at the menu, and he kept asking for our order. Ask us to queue at the back if there are customers walking in, (then what's the point of reserving a table?) Otherwise all good though. Food was good, the serving staff is pretty good and attentive. The counter staff is like the face of the eatery. Customer service standard should have been better. Hopefully more attention can be given for proper handling of customers.

The food was great, but a number of unexpected additional fee (tax, snack, etc). The side dish of mushroom($3.8 snack) was served and charged even though we didn't ask for it, and didn't even touch it. We weren't informed either. This is not because I cannot afford $3.8, but the staffs are responsible to explain about this issue before placing an order.
