A very nice experience to have stopped by this restaurant. This is definitely one of the place where Mamak interpretation in Malaysia food restaurants, are being replicated. We would come here again if we do miss d road trips to Malaysia. The ambience we felt, the food taste and even the portion are similar. The only thing not similar is the price that we pay for the food.😂😂😅😅. Lets get things clear, we ordered and we enjoyed the food, totally... I ordered Onion Thosai and it is yummy, not to mention the very reasonable price. Other plus points: tables are clean. Place is airy. Basin area for hand washing has manual taps (ie you need to turn on and off) ! I love it! At most eateries, you have to keep pressing the tab with miserable water pressure to wash your hands and I dislike that. The service staffs don very nice uniform (chic polo tee) with ABC explained! It means Always your Best Choice! :)

Nasi kandar means mixed rice in a pack in Malay. The choices are pretty vast here. Chicken, mutton, fish and eggs. If you are a fan of quail eggs, this place has a masala cooked quail eggs. The price is also reasonable. I have had nasi kandar with fried chicken and egg with two vegetables sides. And teh tarik, of course. It costs me just slightly above SGD8. Cleanliness and Covid19 safe management measures wise, it is above average. Did I mention that this place also sells rojak?

Aloo Gobi (SGD $4) @ ABC Nasi Kandar Restaurant. . With several outlets around, this is one of the most convenient places to get this dish. . It's also one of the cheapest, with the drawback being the lower ratio of crunchy cauliflower to tender potatoes. . But the flavour is properly mildly spice sweet savoury, with a little bit of heat. Nice. . . . Bhindi Masala (SGD $3.50) @ ABC Nasi Kandar Restaurant. . Possibly the most wallet-friendly rendition of this dish, with the sliced okra having a tender soft texture without being mushy, and mild vegetal savoury salty spice flavour. . The thick gravy is only mildly spicy, with a more pronounced vegetal sweet savoury flavour. . With lady's fingers being high in vitamin K, fibre, iron, and folate, this is said to promote blood health. . . . Butter Chicken (SGD $6.50) @ ABC Nasi Kandar Restaurant. . Luscious and creamy smooth, their rendition has a pleasant vegetal sweet milky savoury spice flavour to the thick curry, with the use of tomato being more pronounced. . The boneless chicken chunks are marinated and roasted, bordering moist and dry with a good chew to texture. Has mild smoky savoury sweet flavour. Garnished with fresh coriander for a vegetal herbal note. . . . Chicken Tikka (SGD $6) @ ABC Nasi Kandar Restaurant. . This features boneless chunks of chicken, marinated in a mix of tandoori spices and plain yoghurt, and roasted in the tandoor oven. . The spices include garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, powdered turmeric, powdered cumin, powdered coriander, powdered fennel, powdered cinnamon, powdered cloves, powdered cardamom, and powdered chili. . The chicken tikka meat is juicy and tender, with a fragrant smoky aroma, and bold savoury sweet spice flavour.
