Jack’s Place

Good place for a regular lunch with friends. Not too expensive, rather good variety of food. Need used for steak is nothing special so don't expect a treat. But taste is not too bad. Had a T-bone, good serving size. Service was prompt and courteous. Generally the atmosphere is good. But it is open concept so shoppers will walk past you so a window seat will give you more privacy. Parking is generally not an issue in the building currently.

Visited this outlet on a Saturday night. Place was crowded and had to wait for a table. Upon sitting down, we noticed a small cockroach on the sofa seat a meter away from us. Informed the staff about it and they tried to kill it but it ran into the crevices of the sofa chair. Hoping it wouldn't run towards us, we decided to stay and ordered our food. To start, I ordered their lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was well seasoned and had a good amount of lobster meat. I then had the ribeye steak. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare. However, it was lacking in seasoning. The black pepper sauce helped flavour the steak a bit more but ultimately, I had to add extra salt. Had it been perfectly seasoned, the steak would turn out great!

Jack's Place has been a memorable steak restaurant for me as I grew up with this brand name. Very good service at the Anchorpoint branch, steak is perfectly medium rare as i like it. Additional note to mention is i had accidentally dropped my mask on the floor, and realised that i didn't bring extra. One of the staff saw it and without asking quickly came to me to tell me she'll get me a new one. ❤️ i couldn't be more grateful!

Staff cannot cope with peak lunch hour crowd, so they are overwhelmed. Despite having empty tables, was told to wait in a tone that will be best described as rude. The lady dressed in white (assuming is the duty manager) is a lot nicer and pleasant to deal with. Food wise, is nothing to shout about, soup and garlic bread were both cold. Entrees were edible but not memorable. I do not think I will be back any time soon.
