Sin Kee Famous Chicken Rice

Sin Kee Chicken Rice is famously known for their white chicken and fragrant rice. The transparent succulent fats rests onto the chicken skin tells you that the chicken is well soaked into cold water. The rice is very heavenly. I could have two plates of rice. It’s the comfort food to go to on the weekends. Or whenever you are feeling low. Just visit Sin Kee and you know. It’s a place that resonates within me. Whenever I dunno where to go. You can eat the rice by itself. Down with some chicken thigh. Scoop some chilli and black sauce. Oh my goodness, can’t ask for more.

Revsited the Mei Ling branch after a long time (since I found the Holland drive branch). Chicken was almost as good. Rice is on the more grainy side but I am good with hard rice! Bean sprout is nice too. The service though needs improvement. Ordered chicken rice for 2 and uncle recommended half chicken. We said it's too much and he gave a black face asking what we want then....

Poor service. It is fairly standard that most stalls are selling boneless chicken rice. While it is my ignorance for assuming that they serve boneless rice, i felt they should at least ask the customers. I bought two packets and when i saw the first pack had bones, i immediately asked if they could at least make it boneless for the second pack and even told her that it was meant for my child. The lady gave a weak smile and said that it is already prepared without offering any compromise. Shoddy service. I will never visit the stall again.
