Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert

The staff here were very rude!! The guy behind the counter was the worst. They don't know how to handle busy hours. When it was our turned to order our food, No one attended to us while we are waiting in the counter to order. And when we asked the cashier why He wasn't taking our orders, He answered in a very unpleasant manner. He is literally shouting at us. Management better do something about this guy attitude. He has NO place in the food business.

Went to Sheng Kee for a weekday lunch. Prices on the menu are still subjected to GST and service charge, despite having to go to counter to make the payment and collecting your utensils. Wanted to pay by Unionpay since they have sticker that states they accept Visa, Mastercard and Unionpay. However, I got told by the manager that they only accept credit cards that show Unionpay/ Visa or Unionpay/Mastercard. I don't think there are such cards, but why put out the sticker/ banner when you don't accept it? I ordered the HK Chinese Preserved meat rice. The rice was dry and barely a full bowl. The roasted meat and waxed meat were really dry too. It pales in comparison to any other store. I had to mix the soup with the rice in order to finish the bowl. Why the 1 star review? - 1 Why lie to customer about payment if you do not know how to process the different types of payment, or if you are unwilling to pay the 4% tax charged from the respective Credit Card company? -1 Service could be better. Having payment made at table or calling out dish's name before serving is better. Not forgetting any greetings when entering/ leaving the restaurant. -1 Food is of between bad to average. Dry meat and rice can certainly be improved. The chili was just chili oil taste, no roasted taste or any further fragrance in it. -1 Staffs were wearing t'shirts with the printing "Free wanton mee day". It is misleading to customers. +1 Did not try their signature wanton mee, but the soup that came with the rice tasted good.
