Wang Cafe

Came here for breakfast just before the vaccination. It’s a small cafe with limited seats and with social distancing, it will probably best to order take away. I waited for 10 mins for a table. The Mee Rubus is average. The gravy is not as fragrance as I hope it would be. The set comes with a drink and toast bread for $8.50.

On dining experience: Having patronised this café for years, it is more spacious, brighter, and cleaner after renovation. New coffee-making machine ironically slows down the coffee production. Current staff lineup works at their own pace, is not attentive to customers' orders and requests, and deals with online orders half the time, causing perpetual queues for order. Overall an experience that leaves much to be desired.

Newly renovated and rebranded from Wang Cafe to Heavenly Wang. New Chinese cashier and Malay assistant only concerned to fulfil their respective roles. Whether customer take his/her order from counter is not their problem. Soft boil eggs were left at counter to turn cold. Nobody ring notification bell or inform me. Zero customer interaction! So disappointing!!
