Ordered half a roast chicken for $11 and each plate of rice is $0.70. Came here on a Sunday late afternoon at about 5pm and they were almost sold out. The roast chicken is not as dry as some other stalls but it’s not outstanding, it’s pretty average. The chilli sauce is redder as compared to the other more orange sauce; the sauce is sweeter and spicier than the average stalls. The rice is however below average, it’s not fragrant.

The roast chicken was tender and juicy . The external was evenly roasted. Love the soya egg shiny and deep in colour they should have soak it for a reasonable duration to get that colour and flavour in the egg. Chilli is spicy and power! Now it is difficult to find a store that do not dilute their chilli to save cost. This is one of the good quality stall. The only setback and my personal preference is the rice was lack of chicken fats and sesame flavour . Overall is worth.

Definitely my favorite roasted chicken rice in Singapore. It is tucked in the corner of Ubi but I will always make it a point to drive all the way here for a good and affordable meal.
Chicken are nicely roasted without over drying. Skin is crispy yet meat is juicy. Their sides such as livers and chicken feet are really delicious too.

Been eating this chicken rice since I was young (more than 10 years).
Recent Msia chicken export didn’t affect the quality of chicken rice. Still will visit as per normal! 👍🏻

No doubt the chicken rice is indeed nice. But theres one uncle who always refuse to wear masks when handling food even when reminded to. Notice everytime when i drop by this coffeeshop.

Really delicious chicken with fragrant rice. Reasonably priced too. Kudos!

this stall is a well kept secret, popular with local residents and workers from nearby industrial estate. Most people in Singapore specialise in steam chicken but this stall's specialty is roasted chicken, very popular during lunch time. I recommend you try the roasted chicken. they do have the regular steamed chicken and roasted pork as well.

Always packed with a long queue during lunch hours almost everyday. A safe go-to meal if you are hungry and you dont know what to eat in this kopitiam. Rice is tasty and the meat is tender and delicious. Reasonable priced. Ask for a big bowl of daily brewed authentic chicken soup too.
A long surviving stall here.
