I really love their dishes and i would have given this a 4-5 star review.
Unfortunately, while i was there, the owner/ manager abused the newer staff in front of the customers. She yelled at him, condemning him and saying his never used his brain etc.... Will not go back again.

My daily go to place for lunch, at very affordable price! Econ rice with one meat and two vegetables (egg inclusive), it only cost $3.50! Four dishes (without rice) cost $4.

$3.50 for a generous bowl of lor mee packed with ingredients and incredibly flavourful - even better than the one in Tiong Bahru and Clementi in my opinion. Unbelievable pricing for Orchard Road, and the bloke taking the orders is super friendly and cheerful too. Not the most glamourous dining environment but hands down a solid meal at good value.

Great breakfast place close to our hotel.
Staying at the Orchard Hotel we wondered over for a bit to eat. $18 got us both drinks, a spicy noodle dish with soup, nasi Padang (rice and all kinds of different things, including boneless fried chicken, two kinds of veg and ikan billis (peanuts and fried tiny anchovies) and fresh pineapple & rock mellon. Literally more than we could eat.
Sure you can get cheaper but you have to consider the location as well. I’ll post some pictures soon.

Tasty local lunch! So much to choose!

Great Affordable Mixed Economical Rice with Varied Tasty Dishes. Some selection of On the Spot Stir Fry ie Hor Fun, Fried Kway Teow, Hong Kong Mee etc. Go along with a Iced Drink of Choice. Also Have Cut Fruits to aid Digestion. Assorted Tea Break Items to go along with the Brew of Coffee and Tea as well Other Beverages. For Everyone who prefer a Heartland Eatery in the Vibrant Orchard Road.

Convenient cheap economical rice for mostly rank and file workers. Busy during lunch time and may be hard finding seats. Variety differs daily and matter of luck if it suits your palate, else there's two more same floor for consideration. Hope they can consider cooking more braised mushrooms and beancurd tofu dishes e.g. Steamed white tofu with oyster sauce, or minced pork tofu. The egg tofu is not that tasty with eggy smell
