Common Chefs Cafe

A small quaint place with very limited parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of dishes but the tater tots are an absolute delight; so so crispy and satisfying. The mushroom & bacon pasta was decent, but I feel the ingredients are quite lacking in quantity - can be slightly more generous. Requested extra spicy for the pasta but didn’t really feel it. On the other hand, the portions of the burger and chicken steak are really generous. The chicken was also juicy and not dry. Overall an enjoyable experience. No GST or service charge as well - we paid around $80+ for 4 pax. Will recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a casual bite.

Location is a little inaccessible, but near many other food outlets and sembawang shopping centre. Went on a Tuesday Night and was very quiet, we were the only ones there. Service was great and staff were very accommodating, answering all our questions on using our Level Ground card. Got the Tater Tots, Soft Shell Crab, The Boss burger and beer on tap. All were very satisfactory! I might even come back just for the tater tots :)

A decent place overall, staff were all very nice and friendly. Ordered the Richman which is only available on weekends, burger was average but tater tots were delicious. My partner ordered their soft shell crab aglio olio, stated that there was a fishy taste but to me it was okay (personal preference), we ended up swapping dishes. Cafe ambience was nice and pretty quiet for a sunday brunch.
