A Poke Theory

I placed an order with one of the food delivery apps and was surprised that the food were delivered swiftly; bearing in mind that I wasn’t near the location. Other than the delivery service, the team at the outlet deserves commendation on their speedy service! The food were also packed well into the containers so they arrived in good condition! Food quality wise, the poke was fresh when they reached me. I love their sauces and the kale chips which is seasoned really well.

I seemed to have misunderstood the website about building your own bowl, and I also didn’t quite understand the explanation given by the staff member, so my parents and I ended up choosing their signature bowls for ease, since we didn’t want to hold the line up. I liked all the toppings and the meal felt very healthy. However, I occasionally got whiffs of a fishy smell when eating my mentaiko salmon, which made me question its freshness. Other than that, it was quite tasty. I liked the soft-boiled ramen eggs and accompanying mentaiko mayo sauce.

Tried a number of times. Fancy version of the original poke. Got the regular portion but the amount of Ahi/Salmon is too little for me hahah. Taste wise good but knocked off one star cos’ I still prefer the traditional poke. Traditional poke doesn’t have so many toppings and is not very Instagrammable! But guess this does it’s trick in Singapore;)

Does not honour their own past rewards programme, claimed it has expired when it was clearly indicated there is no expiry on the rewards card. Not customer centric. 13/1/22 Update: I am fine if the rewards programme had changed since, and had simply wanted to redeem my past reward which was not honoured even though it was stated that there is no expiry.
