Quality of food really dropped over these years. Used to patronise the outlet at Causeway point but its has closed down. Ordered via their official website, quick & easy. The star Samsui Ginger Chicken did not taste as good as it used to, chicken is dry and not juicy. Ginger condiment is not fragrant too. Portions were superrrrr little even at the largest size available. Will probably not revisit Soup Restaurant anymore.

Located on the 4th level of Compass Point, Soup Restaurant is a family favorite, especially the signature ginger chicken, we love the radish soup too. The fried rice with bits of sausage was old school. We had ordered the 5pax set meal, food was generous and home-cook feel. Its Samsui Ginger Chicken is a classic, a simple and sincere dish of steamed chicken wrapped in lettuce and complimented with ginger sauce that keeps me salivating. Hear the crunch of the leaves, feel the tenderness of the meat, and smell the fragrance of the sauce. Expected to wait for service.

The food here is delicious and the staff here are nice! I have been eating here since young. Janny and Lee Ming’s team works hard to fulfil our orders, and take extra steps to make our dining experience memorable. They are very welcoming and prompt in bringing us to our seats, and takes initiative in areas like refilling our tea and recommending dishes for us to try. Great food and service - I highly recommend and will come back again!

Soup Restaurant at Compass One serves delicious Chinese cuisine. The Signature Samsui Ginger Chicken was enjoyed with crunchy lettuce and sesame oil-ginger dip. The mostly chicken breast meat was tender and completely deboned. We ordered two spicy dishes - Spicy Tofu with Minced Pork, and Black Pepper Tiger Prawns. The tofu went well with steamed rice. The Tiger prawns was good although one of them was mushy. Although there was some upselling for us to order their set menu packages, service was satisfactory. Overall, a good meal.
