Citrus Bistro

This place is opened for business since December 2016. Due to the water playground around the Sengkang swimming pool, it's a bit noisy dining here. My first visit to this restaurant and overall the experience has been positive. The serving is large and the food is nice. I ordered the pasta with chicken and it's nice. The smoked duck is nice as well. Currently they have this buy 3 and have the 4 meal free promotion. Worth giving this place a try for the nice food. 👍

Very nice and family-friendly place but if you're going on weekends, it can get very crowded and noisy due to the families coming to the swimming pool. You need to call the cafe in order to enter the swimming complex to go to the bistro or you would have to pay the token to enter the swimming complex. Dessert was very good and the owner of the place was very friendly. Would definetely recommend the burger over the wrap or pasta.

This bistro is located within the Sengkang swimming pool. It sell from curry chicken to western food. So how’s the food? I will say that the western food is good. If you have high expectation for curry chicken then the curry chicken there may not be for you. The food there is not cheap but it’s worth trying. Take note that it only accept cash or Nets payment only.

Citrus Bistro is located inside Sengkang Swimming Complex, so you’ll have to make a reservation or call them so that you can enter the swimming complex for free. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara, tom yum pasta and potato wedges. The pastas taste really savoury and delicious. Price is okay, somewhat similar to Pastamania. I’d say their pasta is better than Pastamania. Warm and friendly folks too. Make a reservation first before coming. Nice view of the huge swimming complex with all the attractive rides.

We happened to see a postal of the restaurant outside the ActiveSG centre. We decided to give it a try. At the restaurant, we saw a 1 for 1 main course which is good. Order a Chicken Curry, a pasta, seaweed fried chicken and a coke float. The coke float doesn't have gas. Could be a left over coke for sometimes. The pasta was too salty and the fried chicken is probably over fried. Good thing is that the curry chicken is ok. Price was good due to a 1 for 1 promotion during weekday.

Good ambience with a price to match! The quantity isn't much to make a normal Singaporean really full (or bloated), but just enough for you to feel "it's enough" which do fine by me! Ordered M4 Carbonara with Hams, very simple cooked pasta with no hidden recipe or depth, just a simple Carbonara. The popcorn chicken is a bit dry so I guess it's air fried, it's fine by me. The Citrus Iced Tea is a very normal Lipton Iced Tea taste in my opinion, whether to order is up to individual but it's not very overpriced, so I'm willing to get it. Overall, if you like simple cooked foods (those where you can cook at home with easy accessed ingredients) but lazy to cook at home and would love to have some ambience, but not paying very high price, this is a place to go. However don't expect very complicated chef recipe level of food.

It was a pleasant lunch overlooking the swimming pools. The chicken curry was excellent, with the right balance of heat and spice. We went for bread instead of rice and the three slices were nice - perhaps they could provide more. We had to reorder three slices for $1. The tom yum pasta as also tasty and the ingredients used were fresh. We both ordered the iced teas which were okay. It is located within the pool complex so you need to call them and they will send someone to bring you through the turnstiles. Alternatively, you can pay to get through the gates.
