Al Capone's

Al Capone's Sports Bar is a value for money place for beer and nice western food. In December, they have 1 for 1 Heineken bottled or 500ml draught beer from 4-7pm! It was a great deal for us and we drink to our heart's content! I had french fries to go along with the beer. It's considered a huge portion for me. Fries were hot and on the salty side. Staff were fast to respond to orders. When our drinks are finishing, they are quick to look out for it and ask if we want to order more. Seats were comfortable and ambience is nice. I like the spacious layout. There are high tables, normal tables and cushioned seats. #ILoveAlCapone

Apart from offering superbly priced alcohol, Al Capone's serves yummy hot foods to go along with our beers too. Some favourites of ours include: Mafia wings (we had 2 servings that night!), Lamb shank & The Boss pizza. That's why we keep returning! They've other outlets spread across the city, find one near you & go try, if you've not already been!

I didn't even have high expectations. The food was extremely bad for what you were paying. $10 for Nachos that the menu claimed to be "Splashed with Cheese". As the photo indicates below, this was not the case. Secondly, I paid for Nachos that would come with Jalapenos and Olives. So stingy was their serving of Jalapenos (I counted 6 slices) and Olives that we had to request for more on the side. The same photo shows the nachos after adding this additional serving. They served us assuming we weren't here to eat but here to spend. The pizza we ordered was thin crust. It was not crispy and slightly undone, however. Ultimately, the taste was mediocre for what we were paying. The ambience was good. The only acceptable aspect about this establishment. If you want to spend money but not satisfy your hunger, I welcome you to this restaurant. Be reminded that only I will be welcoming you to this restaurant, as none of the waiters did so when we arrived. The service charge was 10%, even though we had to pay for water. Just because the location is good, doesn't mean they are.
