Cheng Mun Kee Pig's Organ Sou

2 stalls merged into one. Very crowded during lunch hour. Long queue. For $4.50 inclusive of rice, there's a lot of ingredients in the soup. Absolute value for money. The soup base here is more of the sourish type. To each his own taste. I'm not against it, I'm ok. But personally, I would have preferred the less sourish type. Overall, if I am here again, I will queue to have this dish.

One of my favourite hawker for pork bone soup. Savoury and full of umami without msg. The meatballs is deliciously out of the world. Came here again 20th Jan 2022 after getting the urge to eat. This time I order additional $1.00 kiam chye in the soup. The kiam chye gave a crunch to the flavorful umami soup. I like this stall as the founder is always around to ensure quality even they have foreign workers. Total damage $6.00 but worth every penny.

Disappointing bowl of pig organ soup. The food quality has dropped so significantly after passing the stall down to the son. Compared to other pig organ soup places, its edible but not worth the money or time travelled. While ordering, even saw them publicly humiliated a old uncle who was trying to ask for for more chilli (mind you, the chilli portion they give is just a small plate). What arrogance.

Flavourful soup. Generous portion given, definitely value for $$$. Braised pork knuckle, which is deboned. But the order taker, attitude needs improvement. Impatient for simple customise order “less rice and no additional small vege in soup”. Raised voice to customers. Deserve 5 stars.... unfortunately, due to the bad attitude order taker.... 2 stars removed.
