Ajisen

Went on a Friday evening. There was no queue, we were quickly seated by the attentive staff. Customers are seated side by side in twos due to the covid restrictions. Order is placed through the tablet with separate menu books for you to browse before placing. Menu is quite simple and easy to understand. We ordered their Tom Yam Kaaraage ramen set with chasiew maki (sets come with 1 side dishe our of the 13 to choose from) and meatball cha siew ramen set with gyoza (promotion set), both with ice lemon tea (part of set) Food is served hot within minutes. Noodle is springy and nicely cooked. Soup tasted ok, did not felt thirsty during the night after this meal. Good place to satisfy a japanese food craving if you are not expecting too much. Everything is done at an acceptable standard but price is slightly high for this level of standard.

I honestly never been so disappointed in Ajisen Few things I had to point out for this particular outlet. I came here on 1st Jan 2021, I understand that it's a public holiday and a busy day. 1. Queue is messy, the queue broke into two line but there aren't anyone directing the crowd. We ended up having 5 groups of people joining the queue on the other side and cutting us. The main issue is, the staff themselve is not even sure which is the right place to queue. And when approached, one of the staff even tell me to move my family to be end of the "wrong" queue, and was not happy when I tell them the "join q" sign board is. 2. The Ajitsuke Tamago is fully cooked in the middle. Which is seriously a letdown by a Japanese restaurant. 3. Wet and Soggy Gyoza. (Do I need to say more?) If there's a options for 0 star. This outlet would definitely deserves it.
