Tang's Steamboat Restaurant

Great bar and love the ambience. Super good soup from the restaurant and the squid from the bar is exquisite! A must have squid 5🏅. A very unique setting where the front is the bar and the back is the hotpot dining area. Price of hotpot a bit high and the lady serving us was not so friendly. When we said thank you and smiled back, her face was expressionless. The guy from the bar was very friendly and nice.

I don't know how they are getting 5 stars ratings but really this place wasn't all that great... The soup broths were simple and in my opinion no real heart could be felt in it. I felt like I was cooking my meats and green ingredients in hot water with some spices in it. Nothing special. Fine wine dining with hot pot is also really strange... Hot pot done in an expensive way really is how I would sum it up. Customer service was pretty good. But for a few hundred almost for four people (we had one basic white wine bottle), I would head to the classic hot pot restaurants for true love of food, and grace and a wider selection of ingredients and sauces to dip. It is not something you'd go to a hot pot restaurant to get as you do I expect them to serve it, but the luncheon meat was delicious. So if you are hear I would say try that!!

What am amazing find! The food here is incredible, the broths are delicious - the non-spicy one reminds me of grandma's cooking! I'd happily eat that on its own! Customer service is always with a smile, and the team always take the time to check in and explain things. Overall a great experience and top-notch quality! i can't wait to go back!

I have been to many steamboat restaurants in Singapore. This is the best one I would say. It's very tasty, nutritious. As a mother, it feels comfortable to go to restaurant where serves MSG free food so all of us can enjoy eating food without worry. And staffs are very friendly, the place is modern, definitely different from other hotpot places. Must try!!

A group of 4 of us went to Tang's for a friend's 60th birthday dinner. It didn't start off well as we were told that they didn't have our reservations although we called in advance to confirm. The nice thing is they made it up by offering free snacks while we waited for a table. The so-called special soup was so-so and tasted a little odd. They also ran out of the fish slices which we were looking forward to. The meatballs with cilantro was quite good as well as the fried tofu skin but nothing else impressed. One thing though, the service was really good. I probably won't come back and won't recommend this place to friends. I am also a little disappointed as it wasn't the 60th birthday feast we had been planning for.
