St. Marc Cafe

Ordered the Toasties set. It's a set with two bread items and a drink for $10. Was quite disappointed with the banana strawberry Nutella toastie. The bread tasted like gardenia bread and there's only 1 or 2 miny diced strawberry in it. The original chococro was pretty normal too. But overall, it's a good place for you to take a short break from all the walking.

It is mind boggling how a basic combination of vanilla sundae with crepe or waffle could yield so many permutations of dessert from mango to strawberry to mocha etc. And there will always be something you will surely like. This is a great place to rest your feet after shopping and there is a great selection of beverages to choose from and savouries to nibble for the famished.

Nice place for Japanese toast and desserts! Seating for a big crowd might be difficult due to its popularity, but for a couple, it is pretty easy to get seats. We enjoyed their classic offerings such as Gion, Fuji etc. Drinks like Green Tea latte is nice too. They have free flow of water too, which is very nice and generous!

The coffee was okay. The dessert was pretty good. But what we were most impressed with was the customer service. While some cafes would have simply turn away incoming customers near closing time; St Marc Cafe's staff continue to take orders from customers, even after the last order timing of 9.30pm. That is very impressive. :)
