Best dim sum in Geylang area, located at sims ave. We ordered in total 6 dishes + 3 egg tarts with 2 drinks for S$36. We got a table at the bottom of the restaurant, place is a bit noisy because of the music. The century egg congee was very yummy and it was really filling, the fried yam is tasty as well. Dim sum are good, was a bit disappointed by the green onion pancake, it was a bit oily and didn't really like the filling.

We heard so much about this restaurant and finally got a chance to taste the food today. Located at Sim Avenue, parking (mostly parallel parking) spaces are hard to find. The restaurant closes at 2.30pm for lunch and we arrived at 1.15pm, just in time and queued for less than 10min. The restaurant is small and squeezy, like those Dim Sum shops in Hong Kong. Food was served quickly after placing our order. There is a wide selection of dishes, and most are good. Prices, ranging from $2.80 to $6.00, are slightly more expensive than normal. The "good" dishes are the Seafood Roll, Crab Meat Siew Mai and Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice. The "not-so-good" dishes are the Century Egg Porridge (very bland) and Xiao Long Bao. Overall, we had a good lunch.

Dim Sum I tell ya. Is different when you have it as an adult. We are more critical and judgmental on the food and way less patient when it come to waiting for a table. But when the food bangs and hits, that’s some good reminiscence. 126 place always pack at any time of the day. It even has a patio sitting overlooking the busy streets of the Geylang hood. And lots of movement, plates coming in, going out, people ordering and drinking the homemade ice drinks on this kitchen plastic containers. Love the feeling. Lot different from the other dim sums but this is a place that you don’t wanna miss out.

Had a nice dinner at about 6pm just before the dinner rush hour. Service was prompt and food was great! Some nostalgia and resemblance of a cha chan ting inside. Overall quality of food is great and deserve a return!

While the ambiance is like that of dim sum shops in HK and Chinatown, its dim sum is not remotely as good. 1) the chinese salad appetizer is tiny portion and its expensive. 2) the salted glutinous rice is terrible. Each grain is hard. And there was really nothing redeeming about it. 3) The chee cheong fun skin is thick and rough. The sauce is too thick and too sweet. 4) the soup dumplings were alright. Too bad the spoon which its served in is filthy. 5) the herbal pork ball is terrible. 6) carrot cake is okay only. I think hawker centres have much better.

This place is a dim sum gem! The egg tarts were good; the crust wasn't thick and the inside was soft and gooey. The carrot cake came in a plate of 8 pieces, and were the size of tater tots. It was definitely salty enough, and the outside was crispy while the inside was soft and moist. The dim sum was all really great and I liked it a lot! The only dish that I felt could be improved on was the porridge. It was tasteless and bland, so much so that I had to add soya sauce into it. Even then, the porridge still tasted meh. One thing about the food is that it's all quite small, and those coming individually can definitely finish a few plates of dim sum. The pictures in the menu may look big, but the actual dish is much smaller than that. If you want to go there, it would be better to go earlier because it can get crowded really fast, even on weekdays. Nearest MRT: Aljunied
