Chirashi King Kong

This is one of four outlets for this authentic and local chain. We were surprised by the high quality of the various dishes offered. The products used are well sourced and the results are uniquelty flavored. Portions could be bigger for the price but quality is definitely here. The miso soup, which incorporates pieces of Salmon belly, is simply better than most Japanese restaurant. The sushi rice, with Trufle flavor is original in it's design and flavor but may be overwhelming to some. A must try and welcome player at Biopolis. After a year here, this is really a good joint for lunch. Still going strong and dependable in these Covid19 times.

Their rice is probably one of the best I've had in chiraishi bowl. It is some special blend of truffle, roe and..stuff, and it is absolutely delicious. The sashimi is fresh and good as well. The interior is quite small, not suitable for big groups. 2-4 would be best. They don't accept credit card payment, but they do accept those ePayment methods like GrabPay and PayNow.

Absolutely love the food here. There’s an unmistakeable truffle scent emanating from the restaurant which never fails to draw me in when I walk pass. Amazing salmon mentaiko don and unagi don. The truffle infused rice is out of this world - so good that it can be eaten on its own. Portions are a little small but I’m willing to pay this price for such quality food. I also like that they provide very nicely packaged cutlery for takeaway options. They only open till 6pm.
