Paris Baguette

Located on level 1 at 313@Somerset. A larger Paris Baguette outlet that is 2 stories in size. Order drinks at level 1. Seats can be found on either level 1 and level 2. Ordered a cake and latte. Total damage was $10 which was pretty reasonable. The cake was very rich but not too sweet, best shared between 2 person. Service is fine, nothing negative nor positive to speak about. The main positive about the outlet is the size and the level 2 enviroment, reminds me of cafes in Japan and Korea. Spacious and away from the rest of the shopping mall in terms of noise and foot traffic.

Super nice cafe to chill or do work. Nice clean environment with good food. Ordered the tuna tar tar croissant 🥐 and the blueberry tart. The croissant was nice and crispy with good contents inside 5/5 . The tart was not too sweet with a hint of sourness which matched quite well, the crust was quite hard though 4/5. I also ordered the milk foam americano, tasted average, like normal latte after mixed.

Nice ambience but service staff's attitude can be improved. Went a few times and the staff's attitude was bad as usual. Always bending down looking at his phone when there are customers around. Drinks are also inconsistent in taste. The closing time of level 2 is also inconsistent? Sometimes closed at 8pm, sometimes at 9pm. Such a pity for a bad service at a nice place.

It was my first visit to this PB and I visited because my partner was feeling unwell and desperately need to get food soon. The staff at this PB seems gruffy or absent-minded in the morning about 11plus. There was no sign on the salad item so when I greeted the male kitchen staff and asked what type of salad was displayed, he simply put a name tag to the food without bothering to reply and walked away. What a first impression! The service staff also got my order of a hot drink mixed up and gave me an iced cold tea. Luckily she’s kind enough to immediately correct this and gave me my hot tea. I’m not sure if I’ll order the salad or the chicken caesar sandwich again as it’s quite overpriced. The salad is packed with greens but the sliced chicken were rubber... it looks tasty but feels like machine type of soul-less food. And the salad sauce/dressing strangely quite spicy. If I had known I wouldn’t have ordered
