Wang Yuan Cafe

Nice and quiet place to hangout for catching up with old friends. The serving portions are relatively large and worth the price you are paying for. Some staff are really friendly, others simply just don’t make the effort to remember the individual customer food choices. Service can also be a little slow, considering that there aren’t many customers in the cafe. Deserts are averagely good and interesting but doesn’t have a wow factor to it. Better to share the snow mountains between two. Thumbs up for presentation.

The butterscotch caramel latte is rich and decadent with crunchy graham cracker chunks on top. Tastes kind of like a cookie butter milkshake. The choco banana snow mountain was also enjoyable with thinly shaved ice giving it a silky texture. Service was a but scattered and there were gaps in between receiving our beverages despite being the only customers. Still a nice place to evade the heat and grab a refreshment though. Edit: they make the meringue from scratch so it took a little longer.

I went there and ordered a tuna mayo sandwich. Five minutes later the waiter informs me "It is too difficult to make right now [as there are other customers]". He then asks if I would like anything else. I order the cheese nachos sandwich. He returns one minute later. "This is also too difficult to make. You can have one of these" (points to curries). So basically the chef cannot be bothered making what is on the menu. Even a super simple tuna sandwich. Terrible terrible customer service. It's a shame because we live locally and liked this cafe before. We shall not be returning and encouraging others not to.

This place serves great Taiwanese dessert at affordable prices here. Personally found that the snow dessert is smooth and snowy, and not in chunky ice bits that you find in many other dessert shops. The team here is committed to serving food on time, and with smiles too. Great place to hang out - additional perks include free wifi! 👍

I have only tried their desserts and I love whatever I have tried. The cafe is not fancy but kept clean. I have enjoyed my two visits there. The first was with my family and relatives and we all were glad we went. The second was with a couple of friends from overseas and they too were impressed.The service is great!
