We’ve always liked this place - primarily the Penang fried kway Teow; carrot cake (which I think they have stopped); and the prawn noodles. The fried kway Teow is about just nice - dry fried, not overly oily; Next to try is the claypot- looks good and reasonable price.

Ordered Asam laksa and this is the worst one I ever had.. This is not asam laksa. If I could give zero star I would.. 😢 The broth doesn't taste like Asam laksa at all, no fish taste, no Bunga kantan taste, what I could taste only Asam water and chili. If I was having a blind taste, I won't even guess this is Asam laksa 😖 And weirdly, there are so much oil in the broth.. they don't have mint as well.. I couldn't finish the bowl, just had few noodles and finished the vege.. disappointed

Yummy Malaysian cuisine in Singapore! The Assam Laksa is superb, as I can savour the efforts put in to achieve the taste! However I’ve tasted better other dishes: the excessive garlic in the popiah should have been given to the fried kwaytiao instead, haha! So, I will return for the Assam Laksa, and perhaps try another stall, will update this post later!

The ordering system is slightly confusing. Pictures of the chilli ban mian is at one side but that side is only for ordering claypot rice and collection of ban mian. I almost ordered mee hoon kuey but saw the picture of their ban mian which looks different and seemed springy. True to the picture, the chilli ban mian has very q and springy noodles with fragrant minced meat. If their chilli has hae bee hiam, i think it would make it more perfect.

Malaysia hawker food for Malaysia foodie at smaller portion, REIT rental included. Nevertheless, it’s good quality Msia taste worth a visit.

The ingredient of the noddles are pathetHic. Look at the photo! Also the cahsier aunty has serious attitude issue. Summary: seems like the coMpany doesn't care about food quality and customer service. Really no point patronise this stall. Wasting time!

Only order your Char Kuay Teow if you see an uncle station there. Prawn bee hoon taste is good and the ban mian noodle is springy. Coffee and tea can be skipped because you can get better out there.

The Penang Laksa in this place is totally unauthentic! It’s just some curry/spicy based soup that is nowhere near Penang Laksa. The place should just rename the dish! Claypot rice is alright, but is too stingy with the meat. Likewise the Penang prawn noodle is just so small! Two miserable pieces of prawns and two pieces of meat.
