Beano

I was looking for a mr. bean or some kind of soy milk shop in the area and came across Beano. Who needs chain stores when you have Beano - it's literally the best! All the products are fresh (you can see everything home made), very tasty and great price! I love that the pudding and drinks have just the perfect amount of sugar. It's delicious, but not overly sweet making you feel unhealthy. Also the owner / uncle in the shop is super friendly and patient. My only suggestion is there should be a drink that is soy milk + the pudding together, that would be amazing!

Beano is certainly better than your typical hawker soya/beancurd stall. But if I were to compare it to the best in singapore, it would fall short. We added ginger extract to the beancurd, thinking it would be a sweet and fragrant addition. To our surprise, it was pure ginger spice and partly ruined the beancurd (advice: don't add ginger extract). To be fair, the flavor of their soy milk and bean curd possess THE quality soy taste. I do wish the bean curd was smoother too.

Beano has been serving some of the highest quality beancurd and soya bean milk products since its inception and when served hot, the taste is absolutely addictive. I love my warm beancurd with 2 teaspoon of their ginger essence, which really gives a real spicy kick to the overall palate. Highly recommend Beano to anyone who does not want commercially produced soya products as this is made daily from scratch with non-GMO beans! The price is reasonable, the taste is great and more importantly, the service from Alan the owner is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
