The curry puffs and pisang goreng are excellent as always.
It was a hot sweltering afternoon, but nevertheless I enjoyed my brief tea respite there.

Brings back memories when I used to come here in the days when the cinema next door was still operating.
Decided to try the chicken rice and it was chunky and flavourful. The guy serving us was "overly friendly" but he kind of made the meal more memorable.
Dur to current social distancing restrictions we got the seats that had a view of the restored row of houses and it was a nice place to have a quiet weekend late lunch.
Tried the famous curry puff and goreng Pisang there too.
Not bad but the puffs have seen better days.

Fried chicken is wonderful. Seafood tomyam beehoon depends.. sometimes it's good, sometimes, like this time round, there is no seafood other than 2 prawns.. doesn't even have fishcake -.- last few times I had sotong, fishcake, and even more prawns..

The banana fritter/ goreng pisang was satisfactory for me...
Very sweet. Can see they let the banana ripe longer.
Father likes it alot.

This place buzzling with customers for chicken rice takeaway during lunchtime. Must be good. But we tried its curry fishmeal and chicken 'spare parts' fried in ginger. Good!!
Heard that its opeh is excellent too
