Boss and staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Very attentive as well. Would say it's definitely better service than you would get in general in Singapore. Food-wise I enjoyed the dishes. Boss Jamal was really nice to offer me vegan options for the hummus as well as the moussaka vegetables. Was my first time trying this style of hummus. It was served hot and when the boss saw that it looked dry, he automatically brought out olive oil for me to pour to my liking. Hummus was tasty for me although would have preferred it wetter. I'm guessing it's because usually it contains a bit of yoghurt but I had to have the yoghurt removed. Bread was OK. Moussaka was amazing! I would definitely be back for it. The signature mint tea is a nice-to-have after so much oil... 😂 Price-wise it is quite expensive for the portions, but it's very comparable to the other restaurants in this area. Probably because it's a tourist area. Good news is that price is nett. So no additional charges. Decoration of the restaurant is done well! The Moroccan tiles on the table is Instagram-worthy!
