It's been awhile since I last tasted their stingray, and thankfully, not much has changed. I find their spicy sauce still flavourful, and the stingray was fresh, no complaints on my end. Still a good place for BBQ stingray on the eastern side of Singapore!

BBQ Fish and fry Lala does not taste as good as in the past anymore.. BBQ Chilli too spicy and not fragrance at all! We travel all the way from North to come here eat their BBQ, but, this time really really very disappointed with the orders! Don't think will patronize the stall again!

Standard drop like grapes compared to the past. Stingray tastes as though its been soaked in the ocean. Might gladly say its been past the best before date as well. Moreover, it is even tougher to eat than chicken meat itself. Do try at your own discretion.

Stingray does not taste good. The sauce taste like they just spam 10kg of ghost pepper on it, no flavor, just spicy. There are better options out there, like the one at boon lay.
bought their big prawn also, the big prawn about same as the normal prawn i buy from supermarket and same problem, ultra spicy with almost no other flavour

First time ordering @ this stall. Well the fried egg surprisingly turns out to be very good. Delicious. Will try other food and update it again...Stay tuned :)

My bf and I ordered 2 x oyster omelette + cockles. The food was great! However, we were both down with food poisoning on the night after eating Chan BBQ, and I was later hospitalised and diagnosed with vibrio infection, which originates from raw food. I give it 2 stars as the food definitely tasted yummy, but it was not worth the $$$ and pain I had to go through at the hospital. Not sure where else I could post this to feedback to the store itself, but just take note to improve on the food handling process. Other than that, I believe that their cooking skills is superb.

Chan Mali Chan, probably rank NUMBER ONE for the lousiest BBQ ever in Bedok 85. Food is either uncooked or just full spicy without any other taste to it.
Portions are fine, but the omelette is a scam. 1 Egg portion and sell you as medium:

Ordered a $12 stingray portion and I was given 2 thin slices! Can’t even scoop a chunk of meat up. I had to scrap the meat from the bones. Paid $12 not even 2 mouthful. Will never patronised this stall again! Will patronised the stall opposite next time.
