Standard has dropped a fair bit. Some food is a bit tasteless, or they try to be healthy. Booked through Eatigo, with 50% discount, but some items, such as Fish, etc, are not subjected to discount. Do ask before ordering if you wish to get 50% discount on items. Imagine a plate of asparagus will cost $42 without discount! They didn’t remind me that fish has no discount. 900g of steam fish @ $153! Tasteless and totally not worth it. Not recommended! ! Will not be back again!

The only good dish was probably the duck. Skin was crispy and paired well with the plum sauce. Other than that the rest of the dishes were either too salty or bland. The worst thing we experienced was the service. Staff was rude and were eyeing our plates to see if we were done eating. Different staff took turns to walk over and stand by our table gawking at us which made us feel very uncomfortable and made the entire dining experience horrible. They could have probably handled the situation in a better way by letting us know they may require the table (there wasn't anyone queueing outside by the way....) once we were done instead of standing around for no reason and staring at us to make us leave when we were done. Didn't pay this amount of money to get such service and food quality...

It's a set dinner for 2, the duck and fish meat were tender and fresh. Just nice a portion for one serving. Service is good.

There is an ongoing discount for the Peking roasted duck by Jan 20 2022: 32 net for a whole duck only available for 4+ pax. Three options for a second dish from the rest of the duck: plain cut (additional 5 net) , fried rice (+15), fried noodle (+15) The duck was good - crispy skin, aromatic flesh but there was only one plate of sliced meat (I’d rather call it a plate of skin) for you the put in as rolls. That is not very Beijing style based on my 4 years’ living in Beijing. One duck should have at least two plates of thin meat (skin attached) for the rolls and a small plate of pure skin for your tasting the crispy. How to cook the rest does not matter much. Here, the whole rest of the flesh was for the fried rice. The fried rice was very good though, full of duck meat. In summary, the duck is worth trying and the fried rice is good, just not served in Beijing style.. If you want to have more meat for the rolls, choose plain cut. And the asparagus we ordered was almost raw.

Was a little disappointed with what they charge at this outlet as it has the sAme menu and prices as the Peach Garden on Level 33 of OCBC Center. But mini Peach Garden is tucked at a corner of Chinatown Point, why would you charge hotel prices. The sweet & sour pork did not come in the pineapple flambé but still love their favourites eg the carrot cake, barhoo egg plant and wasabi salad prawns. The Peking Duck somehow too localised in taste.

The Peking Duck is definitely worth the $28++ and the other 2 dishes were good as well (forgotten to take the photo of the duck meat). However, was pretty surprised by the price of the pot of pu-er tea for 4 ($15++ if I remember correctly).

Food is definitely overpriced. If not for the 30% Eatigo discount, we might have walked out of the restaurant. Food is ok, not fantastic. Service is not as bad as what the other reviewers shared, perhaps the restaurant has improved on their service after the negative feedback. Will not go back for sure, unless we apply 50% at specific timings on Eatigo.
